Teresa attended her first yoga class in 1997, hoping to become more flexible. Practicing yoga did help improve her flexibility and overall physical well-being, but the inner peace she experienced was even more profound.
In 2006, Teresa felt inspired to help others improve their physical, emotional, and mental health, so she began training to become a yoga instructor. She received her RYT-200 Teacher Certificate from the Himalayan Yoga & Meditation Center in Palatine, IL.
Teresa has been teaching Gentle Yoga, as well as other yoga classes, since 2007. Her latest passion is Chair Yoga, with this class recently being added to her schedule. Currently, all classes are held virtually on Zoom.
Teresa lives in Bartlett, IL, and enjoys spending time with her husband and two adult daughters, as well as immersing herself in nature, music, dance, and audiobooks.
